WASTE BATTERY DISPOSAL NOTICE

This product may contain batteries or accumulators that must be collected separately. The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol shown on the battery or its packaging indicates that these batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. Batteries may contain heavy metals (such as lead, mercury, or cadmium) that can harm the environment and human health if improperly disposed of. Therefore, it is important that used batteries are disposed of at appropriate collection points designated for the separate collection of such waste, such as electronics stores, recycling centres, or special battery collection bins.
Before disposal, ensure that the batteries are fully discharged, and if they are lithium-ion batteries, protect the contacts with adhesive tape to prevent short circuits or fire hazards. Avoid contact with damaged batteries and never attempt to disassemble them. Proper disposal of batteries helps prevent soil and water pollution, protects the environment and human health, and enables the recycling of valuable materials. The retail price of battery-powered products already includes the costs of collection and recycling in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2023/1542.
